Early bench pic before dog holes and Curly Maple end vice cover added later, border 8/4 White Oak with box joint ends, Cherry accent strip on ends, vice dovetailed White oak. Sysamore tray bottom. All the Red Oak is finger jointed scrap. Finished with 7 coats of Varithane floor finish. When I was building a number of people asked the question. You are not really going to use that as a workbench are you? YEP. |
