What does it Take to Make an MSRD Board? |
|
As with a lot of things they look easy to make and are, with the proper tools and lumber, the finish is another story. Not a cheap board, $5 to $25 per board foot for the rough wood, use one for a while and you will know why it is the best. It will be there for your favorite Grandchild with a little care, like your favorite fishing rod. |

Why an MSRD Board? They cradle the fish, just a little, the fish stays on the board better for the picture, especially if you are alone. Guys that have them say they have a calming effect on the fish. They do not get hot like aluminum in the Sun and they float. Rods, reels, sunglasses and boats break or go away over the years, the MSRD Board is to be handed down to Grand Children. A picture on your board on the wall is better than a mount one guy said, cheaper than a mount, and identifiable as mine. I am a little biased and they are cool. |

A lot of woodworking projects get prototypes, this was an original prototype. Complete with test fish. Each board is made with love for the sport. Got 4 hours, you can make one to. |
